YLE has 9 regional broadcasting centres for television production. Regional television production comes under the administration of YLE TV 2, Tampere, responsible for regional programming in the national networks. A 15-minute domestic review is shown on TV 2 five days a week.

Market and statistical information
The Yearbook published by the European Audiovisual Observatory provides information on the economic and financial situation of broadcasting (Volume 1), on the TV equipment, transmissions facilities and on TV audience market share (Volume 2), on interactive television and new services (Volume 4) and on TV programming and TV production (volume 5).
The report Radio and Television systems in Europe 2000/2001, edited by the Hans Bredow Institute and published in English and French by the Observatory, provides excellent background information on the various national radio and television landscape in each of the European countries.
