Description

Eric Munch joined the Observatory’s Department for Legal Information (DLI) in September 2022, after having previously been involved with the EPRA Secretariat. He is involved in maintaining and updating the Observatory’s AVMSDatabase for national transpositions of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive, by coordinating exchanges with experts and the European Commission. His work also involves participating in the making of the various publications of the department.

Eric has a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages (from the University of Strasbourg and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, USA) and a Master’s degree in International Relations (from ITIRI, University of Strasbourg), focused on the European Union’s cooperation projects management.

Aside from his experience with EPRA, he has been involved with the work of an NGO in Nepal, writing articles focusing on human-trafficking for a local English-speaking newspaper. He has also worked for four years as a managing officer for European Structural and Investment Funds at Région Grand Est, with a focus on research and development projects and of the Youth Employment Initiative, a fund dedicated to financing innovative actions towards the social and professional integration of unemployed youth.
