Back Conference: cinema windows across Europe

Conference highlights

  • This year’s public conference took place under the Observatory’s Italian Presidency. We examined the current situation concerning media windows in Europe. When is audiovisual content made available and through what channels? Cinema? Broadcast television? Video on demand and DVD? How does each European country regulate the life of an audiovisual work and its distribution to its audiences via the various means of distribution? Watch the presentations below and find out!
  • The conference was organised by the Italian Ministry of Culture and the European Audiovisual Observatory;
  • Working languages were English and Italian with interpretation;
