The 11th European Communication Conference (ECC 2026) brings together media and communication researchers under the theme “Shifting Grounds: Paths, Connections, and Futures,” exploring how communication can respond to today’s major societal challenges.
The European Audiovisual Observatory team will take part in the conference on 9 September, from 9.00 to 10.30. Dr Agnes Schneeberger, our TV and VOD Markets Analyst, will make a presentation entitled “The media data library for researchers” where she will present our work and databases. Dr Joan Ramon Rodriguez Amat, Senior Analyst, will talk about his work on the video games project. Their presentations will be followed by a panel discussion.
Their participation will provide an opportunity to engage with the latest research and discussions on the evolving role of media and communication in society.
The conference is organised by the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) and hosted by Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia.
