The World Forum for Democracy is a unique platform where policymakers, activists, and democratic innovators from around the world come together to discuss key democratic challenges facing our society today. The 13th edition will be held in Strasbourg from 5 to 7 November 2025, under the theme “Democracy at Risk: How Can We Revive It?”

On Thursday, 6 November 2025, from 16:00 to 17:30 Pauline Durand‑Vialle, our Executive Director,  will moderate a panel discussion at the World Forum for democracy entitled “Culture on screen, stories of resistance”.

This session will explore how audiovisual storytelling can strengthen civic resilience, defend pluralism, and inspire democratic participation in an era of declining trust.

The discussion will be held with simultaneous interpretation in English and French and is organised by Eurimages, in collaboration with the Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions.
