From 27 to 29 April 2026, Series Mania Institute will host the “IP Adaptation Bootcamp,” a three-day online training programme dedicated to the role of intellectual property (IP) in the audiovisual sector
The programme covers the creative, legal and commercial aspects of IP adaptation, including development, negotiation and multi-platform storytelling, through expert-led sessions and case studies.
Agnes Schneeberger, our TV and VOD Markets Analyst, will open the workshop on Monday, 27 April from 10.00 to 10.45 with a presentation on the role of adaptations in European audiovisual fiction production. She will examine the latest trends in adapting intellectual property (IP) into series and present exclusive data highlighting the current state of the market and its future direction. The presentation is based on her upcoming report, Adaptations in Film and Audiovisual Fiction Production in Europe -2015–2024 figures.
The bootcamp is designed for audiovisual professionals seeking to strengthen their understanding of the full IP lifecycle, from sourcing and adaptation to financing and distribution in a global market.
Participants can register for the three-day online training programme upon payment of a registration fee.
