Description

Nathalie Girard joined the European Audiovisual Observatory in August 2023 and took up the post of assistant to the Executive Director. She is responsible for the Executive Council, the Advisory Committee, the Bureau of the Executive Council, the Financial Committee and the Board of External Auditors’ meetings and conferences.

After graduating with a Master's degree in legal and audiovisual translation, she worked as a freelance translator, dubbing writer and subtitler in Paris. Later and along with this, she held the position of audiovisual project manager for a Strasbourg-based production company and for ARTE, the French-German TV channel. She also worked for the European Human Rights Training Programme for Legal Professionals (HELP) within the Directorate General Human Rights and Rule of Law (DGI, Council of Europe).
