We serve European and international journalists with our press releases. We regularly publish facts, figures and analysis from our latest publications or conference presentations in the form of press releases targeting the journalist community.
All press releases are available in English, French and German. We also offer free copies of our publications to bona fide journalists who quote our work in their articles or write about our publications.
Our experts and analysts are often solicited to answer journalists' questions and participate in radio and television programmes. We are very glad to do this inasmuch as the work involved in producing our publications allows.

MAVISE TV and VOD Database publishes its 2019 data now online!
Supply of TV channels in Europe more fragmented due to pre-Brexit migration and diversification of channels
Managed by the Observatory and supported by the Creative Europe programme of the EU, the MAVISE database is up-dated every year with new facts and figures. It provides individual data for TV channels and VOD services available in Europe.

European Audiovisual Observatory rings in its new Moroccan Presidency for 2020!
The Observatory’s yearly rotating presidency changes every January. In 2019 the Presidency was held by Italy. As the European Audiovisual Observatory’s membership goes beyond Europe, Morocco, a member since May 2014, assumes the organisation's Presidency for the first time in 2020.

LUMIERE VOD - THE DIRECTORY OF EUROPEAN FILMS
This transparency tool, supported by the European Commission and managed by the Observatory, has now nearly doubled the data available. It includes information coming from 305 different VOD catalogues available in 32 European countries. In total, 37.000 European films have been listed.
