Strasbourg's European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has served as a protective bastion for freedom of expression and has been examining violations of the European Convention on Human Rights since its entry into force in 1953. But a new free online database has just been launched containing the ECtHR freedom of expression case law of the past thirty years.
